FAQ's for EMDR Intensives

How much do intensives cost?  

Full-day Intensives = $1000 per day (6-hours of therapy per day) 

Half-day intensives = $500 per day (3.5-hours of therapy per day)

50% deposit is required to confirm your Intensive days.

The remaining 50% will be paid on the first day of the Intensive.

Preferred methods of payment - Zelle, VENMO.

How long do intensives take? 

Full day Intensives take between 1-3 days. Typically, sessions will begin around 9:00 AM and last until about 4:00PM, with breaks and lunch in between (a total of 6 hours of therapy throughout the day). Intensives are extremely focused and flexible, depending on the individual needs of each client.

How do I schedule an intensive with Dr. Herb?

First, schedule a 20-minute, free phone consultation. Consultations are NOT therapy - they are an exploration to see if an intensive is a good fit for you and if I am the right therapist to help you meet your goals.

How do I prepare for an intensive? 

Intensives are just that – intense. It’s a time to focus on your well-being and dealing with those issues that interrupt your victorious living as a child of God. Treating the days surrounding intensive sessions as if you are on a personal retreat seems to work best for most clients. Schedule enjoyable activities around your sessions such as hiking, site-seeing or relaxing on the lake.

I conduct all intensives in-person in Madison, Ga, near Lake Oconee.
