EMDR Consultation

There are 4 types of consultation offered: 

(1) Consultation for HAP EMDR Level I and II; 

(2) Consultation for Individual Cases or Certification; 

      (a) Privately designated individual Consultations

(3) Consultation for CIT

     (a) Privately designated individual Consultations

(4) Personal EMDR Refresher Consultation

(1) EMDR HAP GROUP CONSULTATION FOR TRAINING COMPLETION

Drop-in groups are limited to 4 members and meet for 1 hour on Mondays and  Fridays.  Cost per group session is $20, whether the group is full or not.  .  Schedule button is at the bottom of the page; click and you will be directed to the scheduling page.  Payment is required in full at the time of scheduling.

(2) CONSULTATION For Individual Cases or for EMDRIA Certification

If you need consultation for a specific case - this is the slot for you.  It's $60 a session and scheduled as needed.  Use the schedule button at the bottom of the page. 

If have decided to become an EMDR specialist, EMDRIA Certification is the next step in your professional development.   In the mindset of "paying it forward," I  offer affordable rates to specifically offset your costs in pursuing EMDR Certification. EMDR Certification is open to licensed therapists who have completed an EMDRIA Approved Basic Training in EMDR, both I and II.  Case consultation typically incorporates the following: 

         a.  Formulation/Case Conceptualization based on the AIP model

         b.  A Review of Treatment Protocols 

         c.  Preparation Phase Strategies

         d.  Discussion of Clinical Cases

         e.  Protocols for Special Populations

         f.  Remote EMDR strategies using the full continuum of processing options to ensure safety.

EMDR GROUP CONSULTATION FOR CERTIFICATION

Group Consultation for Certification is a more formal process.   There are 3 people to a group and they are scheduled monthly or bi-monthly.  I work with interested clinicians in determining the date, time and size.   The group charge is $40 per person.    Please send an email to Lakeoconeecounseling@gmail.com to begin the process or to partner with other clinicians to have your own group.  

(3) CONSULTATION for CIT

To become an EMDRIA approved Consultant, you must meet the following requirements.  

*Be EMDRIA Certified and maintain this status while a CIT. 

*Upon completion/acceptance of your CIT agreement, notify your consultees that you are a CIT consulting with Dr. Herb. 

*Have and maintain a consultation caseload of a minimum of two consultees pursuing EMDRIA certification with whom you meet at least once a month.

*Notify EMDRIA Standards and Training that you are CIT with Dr. Herb.

*Meet EMDRIA standards as described in the EMDRIA Consultation Packet  

To be eligible for becoming an EMDRIA Consultant, you must complete 20 hours of case consultation, 10 of which may be group hours.  The fee for individual consultation is $80 and for group consultation it is $50.  Group Consultations for CITs are only available for pre-established groups of 3.  

Please contact me by email first at Lakeoconeecounseling@gmail.com to schedule an initial consultation to begin the Certification or CIT process.  This initial consultation is at no charge.  After the first consultation, I will set up 

a privately designated individual consultation link, usually designated by your initials.  

(4) Personal EMDR Refresher Consultation

This if for the clinician who has been trained in EMDR through an approved EMDRIA provider and is looking for a refresher.  These are focused consultations designed specifically to meet your learning requirements.  This package consists of 5 one hour sessions.  Pricing is $300.  Contact me directly at Lakeoconeecounseling@gmail.com to schedule.
